{"id":17,"date":"2022-11-08T20:48:54","date_gmt":"2022-11-08T20:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/?p=17"},"modified":"2023-05-15T17:14:37","modified_gmt":"2023-05-15T17:14:37","slug":"mauritius-first-african-country-to-join-oecd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/2022\/11\/08\/mauritius-first-african-country-to-join-oecd\/","title":{"rendered":"Mauritius, First African Country to Join OECD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>During visit of the OECD SG Mathias Cormann in Mauritius at the end of October 2022, he noted that Mauritius is a valued member of the OECD Development Centre since 2009. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mauritius is fully engaged with the efforts of the <a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/oecd\/\">#OECD<\/a> to reform the international tax system &#8220;to make it fairer and work better in a globalized and digitalized world economy.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The OECD Investment Committee recently approved for Mauritius to start the process of acceding to the OECD Declaration on International Investment.
