Thus, UK becomes the 12th member and is the first European nation to join after two years of negotiation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words, the <a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/cptpp\/\">#CPTPP<\/a> is basically an <a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/fta\/\">#FTA<\/a> covering mostly the <a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/indopacific\/\">#IndoPacific<\/a> with a combined market of more than 500 million people. In <a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/gdp\/\">#GDP<\/a> terms, the bloc cumulates USD 15.7 trillion, which accounts to about 15% of global <a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/gdp\/\">#GDP<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement will have to go through Parliament before it is ratified and comes in effect.
