The new projects are in line with President Trump&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/americafirst\/\">#AmericaFirst<\/a> policy by bolstering exports and technology while securing energy and minerals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the sensitive nature of some of the projects, some details have not been disclosed. DFC is providing USD 155 million in equity finance to WIOCC Group to extend terrestrial and submarine fiber networks across Africa. DFC is financing a mining project in West Africa to secure <a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/criticalminerals\/\">#CriticalMinerals<\/a> for the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last but not least, DFC is providing a counter-guarantee up to USD 500 million to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to support its Global Trade Finance Program.
