As a result, Egypt signed agreements with South Africa, Equatorial Guinea and Chad. The bilateral meetings took place between the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty and his counterparts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"South_Africa\"><\/span>South Africa<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img data-dominant-color=\"bbaaa0\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #bbaaa0;\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"641\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/EG-SA-00W-jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"not-transparent wp-image-41541\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/EG-SA-00W-jpg.webp 641w, https:\/\/gbc1.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/EG-SA-00W-300x168.webp 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 641px) 100vw, 641px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>South African Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Ronald Lamola welcomed the launch of the Egypt-South Africa Business Council as a platform to connect the business communities in the two countries. The inaugural session of the joint business council will coincide with the forthcoming visit of Minister Adbelatty to South Africa. In the presence of the Egyptian Health Minister Khaled Adbel-Ghaffar, the two foreign ministers witnessed the signing of a cooperation MoU between Chad&#8217;s Ministry of Health and the Egyptian Drug Authority on the supply and production of pharmaceuticals and medical products. Although no agreement was signed, Egypt and other countries exchanged views on matters of common concern, and explored deepening cooperation in security, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, and other areas of mutual interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Boost_Egypt-Africa_Ties\"><\/span>Boost Egypt-Africa Ties<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Forum provided an excellent opportunity to expand partnerships between Egypt and other African countries. Before the Forum, Egypt already offered agricultural and irrigation expertise to Guinea.
