The itinerary took Jaishankar to Ghana, C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire, and Ethiopia. Jaishankar also held meetings with his counterpart Gedion Timotheus and Ethiopian Investments Holdings CEO Brook Taye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Technology &amp; Health Frontiers:<\/strong> With Foreign Minister Gedion Timotheus, agreements were made to deepen ties in AI, public digital infrastructure (&#8220;India Stack&#8221;), space, and drones. India also committed to hosting its next prosthetic limb camp in Jaipur, Ethiopia. While in Addis Ababa, Jaishankar visited the AI Institute and noted that India and the African Union saw eye-to-eye when it comes to promoting <a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/ai4all\/\">#AI4All<\/a>, while leaving no country behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4th_India-Africa_Forum_Summit\"><\/span>4th India-Africa Forum Summit<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img data-dominant-color=\"866c70\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #866c70;\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/INAf-02w-jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"not-transparent wp-image-41759\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/INAf-02w-jpg.webp 600w, https:\/\/gbc1.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/INAf-02w-300x200.webp 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>While in Addis Ababa, Jaishankar chaired a<strong> <\/strong>Heads of Mission Conference in the Africa Region, bringing together Indian ambassadors stationed in countries around Africa to synchronize the India-Africa outreach and coordinate the execution of the Africa Forward Initiative (<a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/afi\/\">#AFI<\/a>) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/mahasagar\/\">#MAHASAGAR<\/a> vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the People-to-People (<a href=\"https:\/\/gbc1.net\/index.php\/tag\/p2p\/\">#P2P<\/a>) level, Jaishankar took the opportunity during his visit to engage with the Indian Diaspora.
