On the sidelines of the 3rd Belt and Road Forum (#BRF2023<\/a>), the #BRF<\/a> CEO Conference took place at the National Convention Center in Beijing on 17 October 2023. The theme of this edition is “High-Quality Belt and Road Cooperation: Together for Common Development and Prosperity<\/em>.”<\/p>\n\n\n

Some 1,200 delegates from 80 countries attended the #BRI<\/a>-themed Business Forum. Among the captains of industry, it is worth noting that 60 out of the #Fortune500<\/a> companies were represented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the Business Forum, nearly 3000 deals were concluded with a total value reaching nearly USD 100 billion. The projects span infrastructure, clean energy, biomedicine, financial services, agriculture, and artificial intelligence (AI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This reflects the fruitful results of the international cooperation between Chinese and foreign business communities under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) framework and demonstrates the confidence and resolve of business communities to continue contributing to high-quality #BRI<\/a> development.”\u00a0<\/p>\nCCPIT Vice-Chairman YU Jianlong<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Mr YU Jianlong, Vice-Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT<\/a>) was quite satisfied with the outcome of the CEO Conference.
