CIIE Reboots in Offline Mode with Focus on HiTech

The 6th China International Import Expo 2023 (#CIIE2023) took place at the National Convention Center in Shanghai from the 5 to 10 November 2023. The CIIE is an annual event organized by the Shanghai City Government in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.

The theme of the sixth edition was “Shared Future in the New Era.” The 6th edition marks the return to offline mode after the previous two editions were held in online mode due to the COVID pandemic and associated restrictions.

More than 3,400 exhibitors from 154 countries booked stands spread over 200,000 square meters at the Expo in a bid to boost their sales into the huge Chinese market with a population of 1.4 billion people. Over the years, the #CIIE has evolved into the premier platform for foreign companies to promote their products and services in China.
