Dangote and Sinoma Cement Partnership Across Africa

On 28 February 2026, Dangote Cement and Sinoma International signed an Agreement to develop the cement business across Africa. Aliko Dangote, Founding Chair of Dangote Group, and Yin Zhisong, President of Sinoma International, signed the strategic framework agreement.

The scope of the cooperation involves twelve projects not only in its home country, Nigeria, but also extends to Cameroon, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The total cost is estimated to be about USD one billion.

Dangote and Sinoma Sign MoU

The expansion strategy is part of Dangote’s corporate Vision 2030 plan to scale up cement production to 80 million tonnes per annum by the end of the decade. From a revenue standpoint, Dangote Group is aiming to achieve the USD 100 billion revenue bar by 2030.

As per the Agreement, Sinoma will act as the main #EPC contractor for Dangote and will be responsible for the engineering design of the plant, procurement of construction materials and industrial equipment, and the construction of the cement plants across Africa.
