BRF CEO Conference Brings In Deals Worth $100B
On the sidelines of the 3rd Belt and Road Forum (#BRF2023), the BRF CEO Conference took place at the National Convention Center in Beijing on 17 October 2023. The theme of this edition is “High-Quality Belt and Road Cooperation: Together for Common Development and Prosperity.”
Some 1,200 delegates from 80 countries attended the BRI-themed Business Forum. Among the captains of industry, it is worth noting that 60 out of the Fortune 500 companies were represented.
At the end of the Business Forum, nearly 3000 deals were concluded with a total value reaching nearly USD 100 billion. The projects span infrastructure, clean energy, biomedicine, financial services, agriculture and artificial intelligence (AI).

Mr YU Jianlong, Vice-Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) was quite satisfied with the outcome of the CEO Conference. He noted that the number of projects, the countries involved, and total value of deals increased significantly compared to the 2nd BRF in 2019.
