IATF 2023 Expected to Close $43 Billion in Deals in Egypt

The 3rd Intra-African Trade Fair 2023 (#IATF2023) is taking place in Cairo, Egypt, from the 9 to 15 November 2023. Two previous editions have been held in Cairo in 2018 and in Durban in 2021. The theme of the 3rd edition is “Building Bridges for a Successful #AfCFTA.“

The event is promoted by the Afrexim Bank and is organized in collaboration with the African Union and the AfCFTA Secretariat as well as the government of the host country, which is Egypt in this particular case. The IATF Advisory Council has identified its High 5 priorities which includes “Regional Integration” and “African Industrialization”.

The IATF brings together Heads of State or Government, Captains on Industry and other national, regional and global businesses. For this edition, 1600 business exhibitors, entrepreneurs, investors and financiers have registered. During the week-long Fair, some 35,000 buyers and other visitors are projected to make the rounds around the exhibition booths at the IATF.
